Getting sore right after weight lifting?

Why is it that im not getting sore after weight lifting?
But when i wake up the next morning, thats when ill be sore.Hell, sometimes i dont even get sore at all. Even when lifting high weights and varying the type or exercise.
Answer:
You're probably experiencing Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. Most of the time it's caused by microscopic tears in your muscles. This can happen if you happen to do a different type of excercise, or don't warm up sufficiently, or maybe just work out too intensely. The article below might be helpful for you. Also, from personal experience, my physician had let me know that these microscopic tears can be so numerous sometimes, that your muscles will contract to heal the fibers back together, and this can cause more intense pain.Hope this article helps answer your question.
Thats just the body's way of recouperating. I would try a muscle recovery system though...that might help anyway since you do life weights.
well to minimize the soreness u should stretch before and after the workout. it will stop the lactic acid from building up. which is why u are sore after lifting.
I've been dancing and lifting weights for about 6 years now. Usually I don't get sore until the morning after either. That is normal. If you don't get sore at all you might want to increase the weight you are lifting and decrease the reps or you can stay at the same weight and add more reps. =-)
This just means that your muscles are in good shape. You are getting sore the next day because your muscles were given time to relax and absorb the excercise routine.
thats just how it is. you generally experience soarness one or two days later. not usually the same day. you especially feel soarness if your just starting to work out for the first time or its been a while.
There's lots of advice and info on a the website below.
thats normal, soreness is a result of the body repairing itself which typically doesnt happen until a while after the gym, usually after sleep when you metabolism slows down. Eating alot of protein and amino acids reduces the effects because your body will have more to rebuild with. Same thing with me, if i go light i get sore, if i go heavy i dont, its also results from how your muscles were worked and torn, its normal, dont worry.
well its perfectly normal to be sore the day after lifting, and you might get even more sore the second day after your first lift. Youre not going to get sore immediately after a workout. your muscles should feel tired and a little weak but not sore. You shouldnt be sore after everytime you workout. If youre exercising on a regular basis your muscles are staying stimulated and are rebuilding themselves quicker. Make sure your mixing up your workouts with many different types of exercises, at least 6 to 8 different workouts, targeting all the major muscle groups. and dont forget to drink a lot of water because it helps to flush your muscles clean, and get plenty of sleep cuz your muscles grow while youre sleeping!
