Gym Routines...................?

Me %26 my friend are starting the Gym next week, we are going to go 3 times a week, we dont need to loose weight we just want to get fitter, bigger (not massive!) %26 more toned, does anyone have a good Gym routine we could follow, such as what muscles to work on what days etc? we are going to go on Tue %26 Thur Evening %26 Saturday day, anything would be much appreciated, Thanks.

Start each session with 10minutes on treadmill as a dynamic workoutI would have a back and chest day, then a legs and arms day, then an back and abs day. Do this on the free weights.Then do 20mins crosstrainer,Followed by 20 mins floor exercises for abs.You will see mega result in a fortnight!!!
i have just started the gym a few weeks ago let the instuctor go though with it 1st he will advise what is the best way and help you to tone up and show you what your body is capable of doing until you have been there a while good luck
As you dont want to lose weight keep cardio to a minimum, but enough to achieve cardio heart rate.
My husband does body building %26 he advices the best way to grow in muscle is to fatigue the isolated muscle, because then it works hard to repair itself %26 this causes growth.
He advices working only two groups at a time say..legs %26 glutes, abs %26 back, arms %26 traps on alternate days.
Free weights should also be used they are far more effective.
and when you have finished your work out drink a good quality whey protein drink and you will be looking like popeye in no time..............GOOD LUCK
Here is a link to a workout that is done 3 days per week. You can adjust the days to fit your schedules. However, they change their routines every week.
