Have you ever worked out and counted calories obsessively for a week, only to weigh in and find you've...?

lost 1 measly pound? or worse, gained a pound?!
Answer:
I actually gained weight, and the doctor said, "Muscle weighs more than fat." And I've got to admit, I was looking better! And feeling better! So now, I don't weigh myself unless I'm Sure that I've lost a Lot!
Yes I have. That's why after years of occasional dieting and going crazy, I've given up. Don't weigh myself anymore either. When my pants get tight, I know I need to lay off certain foods for awhile and go for long walks.
YES....and it is so aggervating. I have heard to not weigh yourself while dieting. That some people lose inches and not pounds but thats a big piece of crap. but if you are working out you might be gaining muscle which weighs more than fat. So you could have lost fat but gained muscle. And muscle burns more calories. Don't give up. I am someone who if I don't see results quick i will quit or get upset. Be strong.
yes. ive done that. it sucks! knowing you put so much time and energy into it excerising and eating right. and it gets you nowhere.
