Get less thigh muscle?

ok, so i've done ballet for 11 years now, and gymnastics for a couple of years, and my thigh muscles are huge. i really want to ose some thigh muscle and also lose some fat from the thighs. i'm pretty thin in my upper body, but then i have amuscley butt and muscely thighs, i really want to make my thighs smaller by june, coz i mean muscley thighs do not look so good under skirts and bikinis, plus, i'm short which is another disadvantage. pls help.

Don't WORRY...!!As u have already stated that you were into gymnastics and have also done ballet for a couple of years, the thigh muscles have become 'strong'. Thats all...!!If you are so conscious about it, then try this out for a month or so to see the results -
1. Drink plenty of water.
2. Do routine workouts like skipping, jogging, twisting exercises to flex the abdominal muscles and lower back muscles.
3. Since your body metabolic activities must be increased by about 15 days by doing above exercises, the fats in the abdominal and thigh region must start burning and ... Wallah!! You should see a reduced 'thigh muscle'.This is a natural process. Do not try to go against nature. And i am sure that your boyfriend must accept you the way you are made/the way you are.

Do lots of jogging and running.

I recommend backing off high resistance workouts and sticking with high intensity workouts. By doing that you are burning more fat! Don't shy away from weight training though, because it does allow you tone up and keep your skin from sagging. Women tend to loose inches when they weight train because muscles take up less space than fat.
I recommend low resistance/high intensity biking or swimmming! Good Luck Gal!!!
