Gym workout?

I just started going to the gym but I dont feel sore after using weights even after a day or so. What am I doing wrong?
Answer:
are you lifting to failure (ie cant lift anymore)...
... you shouldn't do that since u are starting of.. but if u have no pain u need to lift heavier.
Slowly start increasing the amount of weight. Its better that you allow your body to adjust slowly at first the reason is that you are working more than muscle's there are tendons, joints and stuff that have to adapt to a increased work load.
