Have i really found the magic diet?

Hey everyone,I am 5' 3" and 110 lbs and I really need to lose weight (i know it doesn't sound fat but if you see me i really am....its weird). I am going on this diet will it work:Breakfast:
1 small egg white omlette (20 calories)
1/2 a grapefruit (30 calories)Lunch
1/1 a grapefruit (30 calories)
1 nutritious salad (10 calories)Dinner
tuna fish (40 calories)
fruit e.g. strawberry, peach etc (40 calories)
fat-free yogurt (30 calories)That's a total of 200 calories and I do 100 sit-ups, 200 leg raises before going to bed. Will this diet work? How long do I have to stick to this diet in order to lose 10 lbs. Thanks.
Answer:
You are not eating enough...and I don't think this is healthy...but you will lose 10lbs in about a month....I think.
I have a feeling that by limiting your calories to 200 per day your body will go int 'starvation mode' and you will not lose weight very quickly at all. You are better off just reducing your daily calorie intake and increasing your exercise. But honestly someone your size really doesnt need to lose weight.
You need about 1300 cal. a day, not 200. This diet is going to hurt you. You also need a larger variety of foods. You just can't eat the same food every day, because it is not healthy.
this diet is going to kill you. you are not eating enough food your bmr is about 1300 you should at least be eating 1000-1200 a day. you wont lose anything because your body will store everything as fat.
After 1 week on this diet, your body will go into starvation mode causing your muscles to eat themselves because there will be nothing for your body to burn for fuel. Your metabolism will shut down, and you will not lose anything after you lose maybe 10 lbs. This is not a healthy diet, and 200 calories is not enough for you. You should have 5 small meals a day of whole grain cerals and breads, fruits, nuts, vegetables, lean means, and low fat dairy products of at least 1200 calories. Limit your carbs and fats, and you will lose weight in a healthier way. Your weight is about right for your height. If you want to change the appearance of your body, then go for the exercises your mentioned. But you need to eat.
if you only eat 200 calories you will not have enough energy to exercise that much 200 calories is nt even close to enough of what your body needs weight lose is all about balance you can take in alot of calories as long as you burn them off
I don't think the calories are correct for the foods. And you couldn't survive on 200 calories. I think something like 1200 calories would be more appropriate. The food listed does look healthy though (just the number of calories seems really off). You may want to add a couple of light snacks if you are going to do much exercise.Losing about a pound a week is a reasonable goal. But 5'3" at 100 lbs seems too skinny to me. So don't go overboard! If I were you I would just focus more on toning than losing weight.Good luck!
No you will not loose weight, that sounds like the diet used to for heart patients when they need to drop 10 pounds in three days. It works for them because they are completly inactive, and they have liquids being pumped through them to keep their body well. If you do this, being that age, and being that active, you are seriously going to hurt yourself, and your body will go into a panic starvation mode. Your body will feed off your muscle first, then your fat, you really dont want that. Do the exercises before bed, eat a good meal every 3 hours, and drink nothing but water. Youd be surprised how fast weight will come off you, just because of how old you are.Seriously do not do that, a friend of mine did something similar to that, and ended up passing out right in the middle of a walk and almost really hurt himself due to his head hitting the ground so hard, if he had been on concrete or any hard surface he would have been seriously hurt. Luckily it was just on the grass and his head was cushioned a little. But he was still hurt either way. Dude seriously dont do that.
