Help on reasearch abt junk food?

I need to do a research on how the intake on junk food in childhood can caused many health problems in adulthood. I was asked to investigate the above statement and show how a healthy diet could prevent these health problems.i need to do a research about 12 - 15 pages and i don't know where to start. Basically what are the important factors i should focus on? If possible, could you list down systematically what i should do in this research till the end of the task. thks
Answer:
mm. hopefully this can help u a lil bit
1 define the difference between junk food and home-prepared food based on the nutritional content and balance. for example junk food may provide good nutritional content but they're likely to be imbalance in the proportion because most nutrients in junk food are mainly fats and saturated fats2. u observe or find from scientific journal articles the differences between people who frequently and infrequently consume junk food3. u start making a link between those junk food eaters with health impacts ( it is very good to find a previous longitudinal study which did obeservation for a long time to follow junk food eaters from they were children up to grown up. and the rest u gotta find it yourself
First you should collect data about diseases caused by junk food I mean fat . And you should explain the diseases and they will cover more than 5 pages depending on your presentation . And you should find researches about adults who have junk food habits and their health conditions and risks . You should try to be scientific as possible .
Look up Childhood Junk Food on Google or Yahoo.
that sounds really interesting. you should focus on the emergence of fast food and it's effect on society. maybe compare/contrast families who primarily ate out versus those who chose to cook. there probably wasn't much research done on the effects of childhood malnutrition until the generation of fast-food-eating kids grew up. discuss obesity, diabetes, heart disease, anything that's been linked to malnutrition. if you're supposed to provide how a healthy diet prevents these health problems you'll need to focus on what specifically fast food has that is so harmful (lots of sugar and fat, preservatives, etc.) watch "super size me", it might give you some ideas for your research, but as an entertainment film i wouldn't use it as a resource. hope that helps.
