Answer:
BE HYPER ACTIVE!!!!
DO MORE THAN VOLLY BALL!
RUN !
JUMP !
FEEL ALIVE!
take in less calories than you burn 2 weeks and you will lose atleast 10lbs.
Leave fried foods alone, and sweets. Those will trip you up. Eat modest portions (don't starve yourself) but have some control... know when enough is enough. Do some cardiovascular exercise (running for instance) I'm not anyone certified but those are just somethings that i know of. Maybe you could get your parents to get a trainer.
Your doctor is your best resource. He knows what your medical history is, and can help you with a diet and exercise plan. You should also see a registered dietician and join another sport or dance at school. Don't expect miracles or to be tiny by the summer. The most important thing is to get you healthy and fit. There's no reason why you can't go to Florida, wear a bathing suit, and have fun. Good luck.
dude, you are going through a phaze, you will even out, all pre-teen girls go through "the awkward stage" mine sucked but now I'm fine with my body, you will too, don't worry, besides your 12, you don't need to be impressing anyone, have fun in Florida, that's what yr there for...
Listen to Momma she is telling it corectly. Eat lots of frsh fruits and veggies and if you drink sodas stop. The fastest way is to cut portions and drink 8 glasses of water a day.
You have to clean up your diet. That means no fried chicken, pizza or burgers. The most important thing you can do with an increase diet is running. After about 10 min of running do 10 pushups and 10 situps. then run again. This is a ultimate fat buring workout.
I agree with your mama...Try to cut out junk food such as fries, chips candy and soda. Portion control is essential, dont over eat and drink plenty of water. If you make these types of changes then you are sure to lose some of the weight.
The best thing to do is to see a Dietitian, and they'll help you find the best way to lose weight.1)Start eating healthy
2)Eat less calories, if you eat 2,000 calories currently...then start cutting down to 1500 calories
3) start drinking only water....it controls your hunger and helps you lose weight
4) start exercising daily, even if its just walking.
5) stop eating after 7
Do not eat food with trans fats. Trans fats make your body store fat and transfers it to your belly area. Stay away from white foods. Such as rice, pasta, flour, starches. Eat LOTS of fiber and raw veggies. Try to get cardio exercise in. At your age, you should be out riding your bike, skating, playing dodge ball, hop scotch, jump rope. There are so many things you can do. Stay away from sugar. Even though it is fat free, your body turns it into fat during the digestion process. Eat your meals on small plates. Drink plenty of water. 1/2 ounce for every pound you weigh each day. And do not confuse thirst for hunger. Don't watch t.v. or play video games. Instead, stay busy outdoors. When you start to reach for a snack, ask your self if you are really hungry or just bored. Brush your teeth often. Nobody likes to eat with minty breath... Keep up the good attitude and set your mind to it. You'll be fine.
you're a bit overwight but that's alright theres always time to lose weight. since your already active you should now try eating healthier- cut down on snacks like chips, candies, cookies and cakes- try fruit and veggies. good luck =)
exercise 4-5 days a week, for 30-60 minutes each time. don't focus on weight lifting so much. focus on walking/running. also, try to eat smaller meals that will keep you full. whole grains will help you feel full so you don't eat so much the next meal. remember that sit ups alone won't help lose that fat. keep moving and say no to junk/fried food.
Hmm well; for one, try and eat VERY slowly. That way, your stomach has time to tell your brain if its full. Next, try and eat four small meals a day. This way, your body constantly has fuel to keep it going. When you eat, try to eat foods that are high in protein, and low in fat and calories, such as eggs, nuts, meats, and fruit. Keep away from foods like fries, onion rings, fried chicken, candies, chips, chocolates, and anything deep-fried. Try to get active for at least an hour a day. Roller skate, jump rope, take a walk, or dance around your room. Just have fun with it!
try adding more running, biking, or swimming. The cardio work out will help burn fat. Also, try the 20 minute rule. At any meal, eat only whats on your plate and then if you want more, leave the table for 20 minutes. If your still hungry have a little more. Most of the time, that gives your brain and stomach to catch up with each other. Dont completely cut out your favorites, that sets you up for failure. Limit them though. Example, only have a burger once a week. You are young, so your body is still changing so somethings may not work for you right now. If you are really concerned, go to a doctor and he/she could help you figure out a good plan. good luck
Talk to your doctor. He/she can help you by recommending a diet(if you need one)and refer you to a nutritionist(who will have a good idea what your body needs to be healthy). Good time to start is now. You are still growing so this is time to take charge of your body and the doctor can help you. You may have to change your eating habits, though.
